Description

KEITH Manufacturing’s Walking Floor Systems provide horizontal loading/unloading solutions for bulk materials, pallets, bales, and rolls. The company’s state-of-the-art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. We are seeking team members with a commitment to quality work with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities: 

      • Learn from and follow the processes of machine operators in the machining of complex machined parts
      • Read and decipher blueprints
      • Load and unload CNC machining equipment in a supervised manner
      • Use precision measuring equipment to QC machined parts
      • Clean and box completed parts
      • Help with basic machine maintenance (checking and filling coolant, changing filters, and cleaning equipment)

The schedule could be Monday - Thursday or Friday - Saturday.
Educational Aspect
KEITH Manufacturing’s Internship Program will provide a hands-on opportunity to become familiar with our business while learning a skilled trade in our Lean Manufacturing environment.

Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment focusing on quality and attention to detail. 
 
Lift Requirements
Physical requirements: 
      • Lift up to 25 lbs. repetitively
      • Production facility exposed to continual machine noise
