| Description |
The internship assists with the children's Summer Reading Program events with the Jefferson County Library. There will be four regular programs on Thursdays from 10:30-12:00, starting on June 23rd, and our grand finale will be Kid's Day at the Fair on July 21st. Help will be needed an hour before and after the regular setup and clean-up of programs. For Kid's Day at the fair, we will have time shifts throughout the day. Extra hours are available before the first program for those who would like to help with preparations.

This will be a good experience for those going into the field of Early Childhood Education. It would fulfill volunteer requirements for various organizations and look good on college applications. Regular volunteers are able to request letters of recommendation from library staff.
