Description

Newhouse Manufacturing Inc. is offering welding and fabrication Internships. They are looking for hard-working, self-motivated individuals that take pride in their work and are looking for a long-term place of employment.

Educational Aspect

The Welding Intern will learn to read and understand basic prints. This includes understanding basic manufacturing and fabrication techniques. While using the in-house ERP system to log into jobs and keep track of parts used on each job. The Welding Intern will use fabrication machinery such as fabricating machinery using MIG welders, jigs, forklifts, overhead hoists, drill presses, grinders, plasma cutters and torches, large fabrication equipment, etc. They will also learn to utilize CAD drawings, hand drawings, verbal and written instructions to understand and build machinery.

Further Requirements

Gerneral welding knowledge preferred. 

Lift Requirements

Intern should be able to lift 75 lbs.
