Description
The scale house is generally open 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with hours being divided between two workers. Work is based on harvest season. Work involves record-keeping, referencing spreadsheets, communicating between staff and customers, scaling trucks in/out, and other basic work.
 
Educational Aspect

Importance of organization and accuracy of records and record-keeping, good communication between individuals to minimize errors, work ethic and timeliness of work schedule.

Further Requirements

Must be physically able to climb ladders on trucks.  Working with dirt, dust, hot conditions.  Maintain the tidiness of working environment.

Lift Requirements

Minimal lifting but able to lift 30 lbs.
