Description
The Central Oregon KOA is a vacation spot for many travelers who camp with us in their RV or our cabins and tipis.  Conveniently located on Jericho Lane off of Highway 97, vacationers are continually stopping by. 
 
Daily duties:
- Mow individual sites.
- Pull weeds.
- Water landscape.
- Clean firepits.
- Clean off picnic tables.
- Pick up garbage.
- Assist with the cleaning of the pool.
- Fill propane.
- Assist guests.
- Firewood stacking and delivery.
- Work on campground projects as needed.
 
Shift would be 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Educational Aspect

Groundskeeper interns will learn and grasp the concept of landscape maintenance.  Students can hone their skills to maintain the landscape standard set forth at the camp.  Interns will learn to take direction verbally and written, organize the tasks in order of importance and be responsible for the general upkeep of the grounds.  Students can also be cross-trained into other positions (and learn those duties) as necessary when other employees are absent.

Further Requirements
- Yard care experience preferred but not necessary.  
- Need to know how to work yard equipment (lawnmower, weed eater, leaf blower).   
- References regarding reliability a must.  
- Need reliable transportation. 
- Flexibility to work ground level or on the ladder.

50 lbs. occasionally, 25 lbs. often
