Description

The focus of this temporary position is to create and implement age-appropriate activities for youth in Kindergarten through 6th grade that inspire curiosity about, a sense of belonging in, and awareness of nature. Goal setting, feedback, and reflection will be integrated into the commitment with coaching and guidance from their supervisor. The specialist will also be trained in Camp Fire’s “Thriveology” Framework, including the development of growth mindset, goal setting, and the importance of developmental relationships, as well as how to create an inclusive community, develop youth-driven programming, and encourage equitable participation. The specialist will have access to the Camp Fire Learning Lab, an educational resource created and shared by Camp Fire National, with over 25 hours of online courses directly related to the delivery and implementation of quality youth development programs.
