Description |
The intern will work with Big Brothers Big Sisters staff to recruit, train and support kids and mentors in our program. Learn about the non-profit youth sector and the different position roles within the organization! This is a direct service position that will work with all of the team members of the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. The intern will learn about the enrollment process, working with families, kids, and volunteers, ongoing support for mentors, kids, and their families, training tools, case documentation, fundraising techniques, facilitation of monthly community activities and events, and community outreach.

Our nonprofit will teach the enrollment process, how to interview children/youth, fundraising techniques, facilitation of monthly community activities, and non-profit administration. |

- Ability to communicate effectively and problem solve with children and families.
