Learn retail job skills and join a team of part-time staff at Heart of Oregon Corps' Madras Thrift Store. Youth 16 - 24 years of old are eligible to apply.
All hires must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday, between 12-32 hours a week. Time off will be approved for eligible Heart of Oregon’s Camp LEAD program participants as needed to do both programs.
As part of our continued effort to address the most pressing needs in Central Oregon's communities, we have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to engage students who experience varying abilities at our Thrift Store in Madras. During the school year, these students and other high school students learn work skills and earn high school credit while volunteering their time at our store. Opportunities to continue volunteer work throughout the school year. As the Sales Associate intern, students will have the opportunity to work with other students of varying work skills.

Learn retail and customer service skills in a small-group setting along with countless other soft workplace skills, preparing you for future employment opportunities. Our part-time staff gets exposure to the many aspects of retail with rotating responsibilities. Training will work up to being a cashier while other skills are being learned.
