Bright Wood Corporation has been a family-owned and operated wood manufacturer in Central Oregon since 1957. With three Oregon locations headquartered in Madras, Redmond, and Prineville.
This Entry Level Oiler / Maintenance internship is a great opportunity to be involved in the manufacturing industry. You will be troubleshooting and repairing several types of machines, including bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, as well as hydraulic and air pressure valves and lines. This position will require you to take phone calls about breakdowns and travel from plant to plant in a vehicle that is provided on-site for your use. Being flexible to shifts will be part of these job duties as well.

| Educational Aspect |
You will learn how to diagnose breakdown problems, learn how to resolve them, and communicate to supervisors the timeline of when the repair will happen. Using appropriate and proper tools will also be part of the learning process.

| Further Requirements |
- Attend a New Employee Orientation in the first two weeks of starting the position.
- Computer knowledge and experience are a plus.
- Prior knowledge of motors and machinery is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn and follow directions.
