Description

We are looking for detailed and thoughtful visual artists to join our team of creatives. As a graphic designer for Yarrow Creative, you will have the opportunity to design a wide variety of marketing material such as social media posts, emails, fliers, mailers and more. You will work in partnership with experienced marketers and there will be daily opportunities to hone your skills.

Our ideal candidate is a collaborative, skilled and quality-oriented with an eye for design and a knack for storytelling. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and design well, we’d like to meet you.

Submit up to three art samples, so we can get an idea of your best work. Feel free to include links to your content or portfolio in your application.

Duties:

Graphic designers are responsible for the visual storytelling components of marketing materials, including advertising and marketing content. The ideal candidate will be able to ask clarifying questions during a project in order to produce the best work for the client, and have the ability to follow and incorporate unique brand standards per clients.

Detailed job duties include:

    • Design and develop graphic design projects for print, digital or other media.
    • Develop a portfolio of work that will be used to support the company's brand strategy.
    • Work with clients on creative ideas in order to create compelling visual content using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator).
    • Create layouts from scratch as needed, using Photoshop or Illustrator.

Qualifications:

    • Must be least 18 years of age.
    • Interest in graphic design, video editing, marketing or related field.
    • Experience with graphic design programs preferred.
    • Experience working in collaborative role and taking in feedback.
    • Must be proficient using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create high quality work that meets the needs of the client while maintaining professional standards.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to learn quickly.
    • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
    • Willingness to make a series of artistic changes to satisfy feedback.
    • Ability to balance multiple projects at once.
    • Experience with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
