Description
Train, supervise, and mentor teens during conservation projects on public lands.
Educational Aspect
Crew Leaders work alongside US Forest Service specialists on conservation projects like fire fuels reduction, invasive species removal, riparian restoration, etc. Crew Leaders receive 1 week of training on technical skills, potential job hazards, implementing proper safety practices, completing job logs, and ensuring crew cohesion.
