Our Construction Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside and under the supervision of our professional project managers. They will also interact with our trade partners and team members in our customer service and sales departments.
 
Responsibilities Include:
- Scheduling inspections from the city, and scheduling trade partners to correct inspection findings accordingly.
- Scheduling trade partners for pick-up work before and after quality assurances, new home orientations, and sales turnovers.
- Material management (purchase orders, variance purchase orders, and returns).
- Final quality assurance inspections and other quality inspections (i.e. framing) as needed.
- Perform light maintenance before and after warranty quality assurance, new home orientations, and sales turnovers (paint, drywall, adjustments, or anything that takes less than 1/2 hour per item or is purely cosmetic).
- Cleaning up job sites and houses as needed.
 
WHAT YOU CAN OFFER:

- Ability to work well with co-workers and trades in unsupervised situations.
- Solid organizational abilities and customer service skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with team members, trade partners, and other stakeholders.
 
Experience: Previous construction experience a plus.
 
Educational Aspect

As a Construction Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in all facets of homebuilding. You will learn solid business practices from leaders in the industry and have the opportunity to build your professional network by forming relationships with our team members and local trade partners.

Compensation is based on candidate qualifications and is paid at an hourly rate.
