LINC is a non-profit organization. Through the cooperation of the churches in Jefferson County, church volunteers, and community organizations, we help meet not only practical needs but provide long-term opportunities by walking with people, offering love, support, and encouragement, thus helping people change their lives.
As a non-profit organization, we receive donations from our community. We need a Donations Coordinator!
The Donations Coordinator will be responsible for all donations that come into LINC Madras. This will include all processes of the donations flow so they will best be utilized to assist those in need.
Duties Included:
- Documenting and receipting all donations.
- Making sure every person or business, organization, etc. receives a written thank you for their donation.
- Sorting and organizing donations which include clothes, kitchen items, linens, towels, furniture, or other miscellaneous donations.
- Making sure all donations are entered into the Donation Log.
- Maintaining how the donations are stored so the Intake Interviewers can easily identify them and have access to them if needed.
- Keeping the shelves in the reception area stocked properly
- Making sure the data entry of donations and evaluations are completed in a timely manner

- Organizational skills to be able to keep things flowing smoothly
- Coordination and prioritizing skills as to what is important and what is not
- Self-confidence in making decisions concerning donations
- Flexibility on the job as the unusual arises that needs to be dealt with
- To be able to work with different people and personalities
- Supervision skills while working with an assistant or two
- The importance of documentation in the non-profit field
- How to evaluate the value of donations |
