Description

Under general supervision, the Customer Service Specialist/Receptionist conducts daily reception operations for Cascade Swim Center, RAPRD Activity Center, Centennial Park kiosk, and District business office. The position is also responsible for clerical and some janitorial duties.

Customer Support Specialists/Receptionists are the first-line contacts for District customers so providing responsive customer support in a friendly, professional manner is essential. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication and organizational skills with special attention to detail and accuracy.

Educational Aspect

Customer service (in-person, phone, email); clerical; money handling; software application (Microsoft Office, WIX, Google); interpersonal communication (co-workers and patrons); public service

Further Requirements

Able to keep records, type letters, and complete appropriate forms as needed; Verbal communication skills (is understood by others, can effectively communicate program and facility information, rules, regulations, and policies to the public and other staff as needed).

Lift Requirements

Clerical: minimal (<10 lbs); janitorial related: emptying trash bags, use vacuum/broom/mop
