Description

The intern in the this position will be responsible for the distribution, tracking, maintaining and ordering F.A.S.T. postcards in Bend and Redmond. F.A.S.T. is the acronym to help identify the signs of stroke and obtain medical intervention.  F (face drooping) A (arm weakness) S (garbles speech) T (time to call 9-1-1) saves lives.  Stroke Awarness Oregon strives to make F.A.S.T a household safety word.  Mileage available

Educational Aspect

Experiences will include learning about stroke, nonprofit work and community service.  Intern will also be guided in public relations, record maintenance, and organization skills
