Description

Helping lead activities such as arts and crafts, games and socials. Helping set up for events and gatherings. Possible help with tech support if person has tech skills such as creating flyers, helping residents with tech support with phones and computers, creating song lists, and slide shows. Help with tasks that are related to Recreation activities, for example: refilling gel pens, working on art projects, office support, cleaning, setting up and tearing down for events, and a variety of misc tasks. May involve moving chairs and arranging and rearranging room for memorials, musical entertainment and a variety of activities.

Educational Aspect

Will learn how to set up and implement activities, create promotional information, interact with the residents, organize and prepare for activities, the clerical aspect of being an activity director.
