Assist the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store's household department with production, quality control, merchandising, and customer service. A regular day would consist of helping inspect and clean household donations, stocking the sales floor with "new" merchandise, straightening the sales floor, and assisting customers with any questions. Enjoy your internship with a fun staff and friendly customers. All of the efforts and funding generated at the thrift store go to help the local community members with food and other necessities.

Educational Aspect

You will learn the relationship between production and sales. You will also learn quality control by identifying items that don't meet standards. Understand merchandising by professionally presenting the highest value items that are low in stock.
