Description

This position will include, but not limited to: researching and creation of databases containing information on Youth Serving Organizations, research and implement Blue Ribbon Campaign and mapping strategies, provide informational presentations to civic and other groups, staff KIDS Center outreach and information tables at community events, create a resource packet specific to Crook County, distribution and stocking of prevention materials in the community.

Educational Aspect

This position will learn how to identify child abuse, how a Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) works, Oregon laws around child abuse, mandatory reporting, child abuse prevention strategies, and how to give public presentations/communicate with individual community members.
