Jefferson County Internship Coordinator
As a new resident to Madras, Davida has immersed herself into the community as an engaged activist in various groups and events. Davida, was an Instructional Support Specialist at Lane Community College, and is excited about her new position as Internship Coordinator for Jefferson County School District a long side of her current responsibilities as Chamber Membership Manager.
This will complement and enhance the Chambers objective of assisting students to experience possible career opportunities prior to their graduation and making the financial commitments to higher education or trade schools. This enables local businesses to embrace the interns as possible part-time employees and future long term employees.
Bend Internship Coordinator
David is a 5th generation Bendite. A local graduate of Bend High, Central Oregon Community College, and Oregon State University Cascades Campus. David is passionate about local businesses and local students. Prior to his work at the Bend Chamber, he worked for Economic Development for Central Oregon and Central Oregon Community College.
Redmond Internship Coordinator
In this role, Larry will be responsible for connecting high school, college and university students with Redmond area employers with the purpose of creating or continuing internships that provide real work experience to young adults.
Larry holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University. He has been a Central Oregon resident for over 20 years, and with his wife, raised three daughters in the region. Active in the community, he has been a co-facilitator for Opportunity Knocks and is a member of EDCO’s Stable of Experts, focused on helping early stage companies.
